Freiburg Vs Borussia Dortmund 0-3

The Gabonese international scored twice after Marco Reus had opened the score to record a victory if necessary for the opponents of the Bundesliga

Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came to rescue Jurgen Klopp as they pulled Borussia Dortmund to a desperately 3-0 victory over Freiburg.
A dominant start from Dortmund was rewarded at nine minutes when Reus struck in an empty net after Aubameyang had rounded the goalkeeper before Gabon internationally split the home himself just after halftime.

The Gabonese star then made his appearance again at 18 minutes of time to finish a superb team move on a comfortable afternoon for the visitors.

The victory relieves the pressure on coach Jurgen Klopp who at the beginning of the week rejected the words to give up following a rotten race that had left the finalists of the 2013 Champions League to support the division.

A first victory in six games of the Bundesliga sees Dortmund jumping from Friborg in 16th, adding to the relegation worries of Christian Streich's men, who are now at points with the bottom of the Stuttgart table.

Few people could have expected Freiburg to have a two-point lead over Klopp's men at the head of the game, but there were few signs that the hosts added to the misfortunes of their opponents.

First Reus shot in two minutes, before Roman Burki was forced to stop Shinji Kagawa's stuffed blow four minutes later.

The hosts quickly yielded under pressure, contributing to their own fall in nine minutes.

A poor return of Mike Frantz was seized by Aubameyang, who rounded the tee-up goalkeeper Reus for a single finish.

The leader allowed Dortmund, who made three changes from Wednesday's defeat to Augsburg, to take their foot on the gas that half worn out, but they remained dominant.

Ilkay Gundogan ran a speculative effort just 25 minutes, while only a bad connection prevented Kagawa from doubling the lead seven minutes later after a good job of the lively Aubameyang.

At the other end of the pitch, Frantz fired off after being set up by Mats Moller Daehli inside the area six minutes before the break, while visiting goaltender Roman Weidenfeller had to be vigilant for Avoid the half volley of Oliver Sorg 25 yards.

Reus and Aubameyang continued to connect well after the interval, the former dinking a cross stolen from the left to set up his teammate, who shot wide from a central position.

Aubameyang managed to find the net after 56 minutes when he clung to a sublime Gundogan throughball to get behind the defense and the home slot.

Dortmund refused to rest, with Burki at hand to push back Reus' effort 10 minutes later, and visitors added a third on 72 minutes.

A great team involving Reus, substitute Jakub Blaszczykowski and Kagawa allowed Aubameyang to take his place and secure a first victory in 2015.
